  • Innate immunity in host defense against infections and malignancy for prevention, diagnosis and therapy of human disease
  • Evaluation of innate immune molecules as microbicides for prevention of STIs including HIV

  • Young Women Bioscientist, 2004, by Indian Science Congress, Chandigarh

  • CSIR Young Scientist, Life Sciences, 2003 for work on identification of role of lung surfactant proteins A and D in host defense against aspergillosis.

  • Charles Richets Prize, 2000 for the outstanding contributions on "Aspergillosis" in the area of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology, conferred by Indian College of Allergy, Asthma and Applied Immunology.

  • INSA Young Scientist Medal (Medical Sciences, 1998) for "Immunopathogenesis of Aspergillosis".

  • Indian Pharmaceutical Association Silver Medal for Ist position in M.Pharm. in 1992.
