Awards & Achievements
- Received the “Dr Winifred Fernandes award” for the best paper entitled “Association of host immunogenetic factors in infertility” presented at the AMWI Centenary Congress, 27 th -28 th January 2007, Mumbai.
- A paper entitled “Chlamydia trachomatis and Human papilloma virus infection in males” presented by S. Lata, S. Kerkar, A.Vallabhadas and J. Mania-Pramanik received the best poster award in Clinical Research category at the International Conference on Fundamental and Translational research on HIV/AIDS: Global Perspectives, 5 th -8 th October 2008, Mumbai.
- Contributed in the development of “National Technical and Operational Guideline for STI/RTI control program” prepared by National AIDs Control Organization and National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health.
- Faculty of National Aids Control Organization for their “National STI Resource Pool” to train State STI Resource teams. She participates and trains the different resource team on STI/RTI services as per NACO guideline.
- Invited by different Institutes and Organizing committee to talk on her work on development of diagnostics for diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections and their association on host genetics factors.
- Awarded with DBT Overseas Fellowships to get trained in USA.
- Awarded with fellowships from National and International organizations to participate International Conferences.
- Awarded with financial supports to conduct workshops to train advance technologies used for diagnosis of RTIs/STIs.
- Awarded financial supports for different scientific projects.
