- Shared the prestigious Labhsetwar National Award for the year 2011 for the scientific contribution in the area of pluripotent stem cells in mammalian gonads. The award has been constituted by Drs. Lata and Anant Labhsetwar Foundation, USA and Labhsetwar Charitable trust, Nagpur.
