Labhsetwar Award 2009
Dr. Smita Mahale, Scientist ‘E’ received Labhsetwar Award for the year 2009, constituted by Drs. Lata and Anant Labhsetwar Foundation, USA and Labhsetwar Charitable trust, Nagpur for her scientific contribution in the area of gonadotropin research. The award was conferred during the International Conference on Reproductive Health and 20th Annual Meeting of the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility held at Jaipur from 8-10 February, 2010.

Best Poster presentation 2008
Mr. Shivaji Jadhav, Student, Department of Biochemistry, NIRRH was awarded second prize for Best Poster presentation at the HIV CONGRESS 2008, organized jointly by IAS Society, AIDS Society of India, Jaslok Hospital and Research Center and Infectious Diseases Society of India, held at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, India on 21 st – 23 rd Mah, 2008. The award is presented by Bedford Research Foundation, Bedford, USA and International Health Organization (IHO) Boston, USA
Labshetwar Award 2008
Dr. Donta Balaiah , Scientist F, NIRRH and Dr Subeer Majumdar, Scientist in the National Institute of Immunology, were jointly awarded Labshetwar Award for excellence in the field of Population Control and Family Planning at the National Symposium on Recent Trends in Reproductive Health Research, Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility, Hyderabad , 20-22 February, 2008.

Innovative Young Biotechnologist Award (IYBA) 2007
The Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India has awarded Dr. Deepak Modi, Scientist C, NIRRH, the Innovative Young Biotechnologist Award (IYBA) for the year 2007 to recognise his outstanding contributions and innovative approach in the field of Biotechnology and Reproductive Biology. As a part of this award, he will pursue a project on the characterization of a novel membrane steroid receptor.
