Dr Deepa Bhartiya shared the prestigious Labhsetwar National Award for the year 2011 for the scientific contribution in the area of pluripotent stem cells in mammalian gonads. The award was constituted by Drs. Lata and Anant Labhsetwar Foundation, USA and Labhsetwar Charitable trust, Nagpur. The award was conferred during the International Conference on Reproductive Health and 22nd Annual Meeting of the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF) held at New Delhi from 19th -21st February, 2012
